I think you should also consider a Pro with the shaker and EL wire mods. I think you would get as much enjoyment out of it.
Having played both, they are very, very similar in terms of actual gameplay. The EL wire has a lot of initial "pop" when you first see it, but soon as you're deep in a game you don't even notice it's there.
