I don't see the problem. Center the decal so the gap is the same width around the coin door (should also align the button/shooter holes). This is on purpose to prevent the decal wrinkling around those areas when bolts are installed.
Does this leave gaps at the bottom/sides not on the original when positioned this way?

I would have centred the coin around the coin door the rest should line up , or the print on the decal could be off !
Typically, cabs are painted with a base color. Usually black or whatever the dominant color is on the decals. That helps hide any minor issues with edges & seams.

Maybe just fill in the plain area with black now. Not the best timing, but could work.
