Is there any way to slow down the disc? or possibly put a resistor inline to slow down the disc spinning speed?
I also was able to install the clear disc rubber, and I even tried to wax it, but it always is super grippy.

Now, for those who want to "tone down" such wild ball action after it hits the disc.. what I found out that works pretty good was to take the Identity Disc out of the machine.. and you know the sorta ruff edge on the disc? Well, if you take some 400 grit paper then 800 or so and sand down the edge of the disc. Doing this will provide 2 benefits.. you will make the disc look cooler, and then you can take just a little of the dust (NOT MUCH) and lightly wipe the disc rubber, it will not dis-color it, but it will reduce the grab on the ball, and make you less scared to break anything as the ball will now fly out at about 40 mph instead of 300 mph.
Just an idea..
Quoted from Manic:Good idea - as an alternative you can simply apply a little wax to the disk to reduce the grab. It will wear off over time but easy to re-do and gives you some control over how much grab you want.
Manic, i tried that with the wax, but it just wiped off of mine and seemed to give it even more grip! Nooooooooooo
lulz
Hey there Archytas,
What I had to do is put a bit of powder.. I use arrow root powder, and I lightly... and I mean lightly powder down the clear disc where it still has some grip.. but not to the "clean" disc.
It will make all of the difference in the game, and make it where you do not flinch ever time the ball shoots out of the disc.
