LOL...looks like everyone had the same idea to post the link. These will be sold out within the hour. I think everyone and their mother with a Tron machine wanted this.

I bit the bullet and ordered one. I figure if I don't decide to keep it, I probably won't lose money on it. I needed a few things from Pinball Life anyway. Ideally, I'd like to display it in my game room and have it backlit somehow. Does anyone sell a kit for backlighting translites to use as wall art?

Actually, YES! There was a company called SwapBox at Pin-a-go-go this last weekend that has a really great product.
You actually add trim and glass your new translite and then you can literally swap translites off your game into the lighted box mounted on the wall and vice versa. He also had motion sensing ones and remote controlled ones as well.
I'll get ahold of him and refer him to this thread (I don't think he has a website yet)

Well it looks like I was premature in announcing that I had purchased one. The translite was indeed in my cart, but when my order confirmation email showed up, everything was on it but the translite. I just got off the phone with Terry, and he said he only had 15 of them, and they sold out in less than 20 minutes. I knew I shouldn't have hesitated. I should have just ordered the translite and then went back and placed a second order for the other stuff. Oh well.

This is something I'd be very interested in. If the guy isn't already on Pinside, he should create an account and introduce himself and his product to the community. I'm guessing there are plenty of people looking for a product like this.

Sorry all. didnt mean it come off that way. I have pretty much asked, pleaded and begged anyone and everyone I can think of to sell me one of these since they were first revealed. Im glad my quest is over and hope they release more to sell. Everyone should have an opportunity.

I actually had to call Pinballlife for a completely different reason and ended up speaking with Margaret. Apparently they had received an extra 10 of them and decided to sell them

Hi Brian!! Thank you!! I've been under heavy meds after heart attack and the side affects have
really been kicking my butt...I really can't do much like I used to but i'm glad to see Pinside REALLY taking off WOW!!!
