TRON: Legacy (Pro)
Stern, 2011i just got my tron last week and i just noticed that the ball ejector is extremely violent kicking out balls. i think i'm going to have a hole in the side of my cabinet soon. what/where should i check for problems? it has the correct amount of balls(4), all the trough switches are working. it's the strength of the coil that seems to be too strong.
Mine kicks out pretty hard as well, as does my Metallica. I think it's normal.

The latest run has the Kickout Protector built in. Unless I am missing something? Mine does not hit wood when it ejects, it hits built in metal.
Mine had the same "problem". You can solve it putting a small rubber ring on the outside of the coil.
as you can see in the pic.
I also done this for the up post, totally removed the annoying noise. And the vuk, to prevent damage on the scoop and pf.
Also, put a white rubber ring, to minimize the black crap from the rubbers.
