What was the last game to only feature single ball play; no multiball?

Victory (1986)? You can lock an extra ball and keep playing, but it's more of a ball save feature. The game never gives you two balls at the same time.

King of Diamonds in 2010 before that? Does Scoregasm Master count?

That sounds about right. Does anybody know what the first single ball pinball machine was? I think I have a good idea what it might be.

Answering Vid's question, Not Odin's-1960 Bally Beach Queens. You only get one ball to play and hit as many bumpers as you can. No flippers either. Just some very strong kickers.

Good call. I was thinking of Flipper, the first add a ball game that came out the same year but a few months later.

Is there a definitive answer to this? I suppose it has to be Whoa Nellie. But how about the last one not designed to be "retro"?
