Quoted from gdonovan:

If the score windows are hazy after drying you would have to scrape off the clear that was used.

Ugh, I hate scraping. Thx

I nice sharp single edge razor or exacto with a 90 degree blade works fine. Just start in the center of the window to get the feel of it and work your way out.

You don't have to scrape. Use novus 2 or 3 to smooth it out, then spray again.

I'll try that, and scrape if needed. Thanks guys!

DanMarino here’s that picture I promised. Sorry it took so long, but the game wasn’t nearby at the time. The camera exaggerates the red LEDs more than they are in person.

I'd have waited a couple of days at least before installing it in the game. You might have a surprise the next time you want to tip the lightbox insert back!

Everything is all good. I checked today and the triple thick was dry and nothing was stuck or ruined.

Does anyone have a flashing bulb behind their El Dorado sun?

Quoted from DennisDodel:

I miss Steve Young's 'Cover-Your-Glass'. I have at least 10 glasses I used it on in the mid 80's and they look as good as the day I poured it on. They say that cold weather ruins them, but my games are not going outside anytime soon. I wish I had a couple more cans of the stuff.

I have the last 4 cans left on the planet!

Sadly, that is probably made from 99% of chemicals that just can't be used anymore.

You are probably right which is why it was the best so you just had to use it outside, in a garage or well ventilated space until it cured overnight!

Now that it is getting warmer, I need to triple thick a couple back glasses that I did last fall. The coats I applied weren’t thick enough because my can was running out.
