Williams Tripe Action blows the 15a fuse upon start up. (Third from top in the fuse stack)

Game was working, mid-game the lights flickered but kept playing for a few seconds. Then the game went dead. Checked fuses. Replaced the blown 15a with a new one. Turned machine on and once again fuse blew. This time upon powering on the game.

Any ideas where to start looking for what’s causing the fuse to blow appreciated.

Quoted from pinballdaveh:

Unsolder or remove wires to the ac connections on the bridge rectifier. Retest.

So I finally got around to checking this out. I removed the yellow AC connectors and the machine plays, no fuse blow. Of course the pop bumpers don’t fire but the game plays and scores.

What are next steps?
