I was hoping someone could suggest a circuit to trigger a 12v LED strip on the Williams Getaway back box GI Lamp Holder. I have a circuit attached but I am unsure about the diode-1.2k input to the 4n25 as I normally use this from the lamp matrix. Also the 10k and which mosfet used.

How about in a 6.3V strip from GI or insert?

    Is there a UK/EU supplier for 6.3VAC LEDs ?

Dont know, sorry. Comet has them here. The Matrix system uses a replacement GI bulb that has a wire tap.
You pick up extension wire, and run a bunch up into the backbox or topper, and trigger strips, pads and other lights.
Just make sure you have all LEDs in the game, and if you want a bunch, split the input to different GI Lines.
A Brightness Scfrew, adds more. Consider any Flex color changing, while you consider options.

Or check Ebay, and wire up.

Comet has the 20 Led units in stock not the 50 but with $16 shipping & 8 week wait at the moment at the USPS. I may look at a SS Relay to control them or get 5v Strips and use a simpler circuit.

If your goal is simply longer white strips, you can buy a USB 5v framing strip for TV. Just watch your amperage draw.
If its small spots or strips, that's the recommendation on matrix.
Either way, good luck with your vision. Do share, when you are done.
