I have Topcard and what I do when the "SPECIALS" lanes are lit I trap the ball on one flipper and shoot it to the opposite Specials lane to score a quick two games. Fun part is trying to see how many shots you can make from each flipper.

TFTC actually has a real named "trick shot" on the right ramp and awards points for it.

On my Metallica, it's leveled and playing in such a way that I can take a dead bounce from the Mystery scoop to the left flipper, then flip with the right flipper, and backhand the right orbit about 75% of the time. Love that. Can't wait to find out if I can do it on other Mets too, because for me, orbits are problematic shots for me a lot of times.

I love it when you get to know your game well enough that timing from kick out feeds becomes second nature. Flipping exactly when a ball hits the left flipper after dropping from the magnet on my DD will shoot directly into the GAB. Every time. Ditto when the ball ejects from the chair on my TAF it's a guaranteed ramp shot.

On my Metallica, You can full plunge the ball , let it orbit around and dead bonce off the left then the right flipper and it will drop into the right scoop. ( my upper post is disengaged ) . This can be lucrative when the extra ball is lit at the beginning of the ball.

This picture isn't really a trick shot but just a freak situation where the ball got stuck on my Topcard machine. Not sure if it got stuck when I launch the ball from the plunger or if it happened when I shot it up, but I was blown away. What are the odds right? I decided to go buy a lottery ticket. No I didn't win lottery

Yeah that works on a ton of Mets...although you don't need the post disengaged.

OK! On Metallica here's a little ditty I call the scoop pass. Two balls trapped on the right flipper. Do a quick flip just a little harder than you would do for a cradle sep and the top ball goes into the mystery scoop. Then when it ejects do a drop catch with the left flipper. I can actually pull this off with regularity.
