    Hi All,

Have been developing this in VPX with geometry and rules. It shots well in VPX and most of the rules and modes are coded. I put up a beta version on the vpforums downloads if your interested. I have put some video desktop captures up on You Tube.

Currently I am doing the CAD for the CNC cut in Fusion 360 and writting the brain(rules) up in MPF. Planning on using P3Roc boards. This will be a JJP style machine with a large LCD/Monitor that will display all the information.

Also working on the animations with Mixamo and Blender.

    hey looks great!

You going to custom machine those 4 wonky inserts? That should be interesting.

    #4 2 years ago

The inserts will be relatively easy to do with cnc and some acrylic and recess to acrylic depth. This may well be a acrylic sandwich design, depending if i csn work out how the rollovers will work.

The vpx with most of code is avaliable on VP Universe and VP Forums if anyone wsnts to give it a bash and give feedback

    Few updates,

    Boards are in transit
    Power supplies in transit

Started populating my test cut with bits I had around, cut in the loops and outlanes. Pics below

Got most of my mechs and inserts.
More rail stainless to do rhe tricky middle bit. I sat and stared and dtew and etased and drew again, now I think i have it right.
Bought all the wrong targets so i having to repurchase all those.
Finally got MPF to work on my Laptop, so coding has started.
Few adjustments and extra cuts on playfield required, and inserts that tend to point into walls.

Upper playfield will be my next geometry challenge!!

Nice arches. 3D printed? How does the ball get out of your “w” shaped lower ball guide?

    #13 2 years ago

Never mind. I had it upside down in my head. That’s an “m” shaped ball guide!

    #14 2 years ago

The arches are a 3D print, the main arch is missing it needs modded, it will eventually be one piece. I think the middle arch is in older pics.
