These are coin operated commercial machines built to withstand the kind of punishment they will take being left alone in establishments frequented by drunks and drug addicts and other on the fringe kind of people.

All I can say is if you don't have faith that they can withstand that kind of punishment, then don't buy them, or keep them at home.

In honor of this thread, I'm going to go home this evening and pick up and drop the front one of my favorite games. Maybe make a video, just so I can get some reaction here!

    Quoted from jar155:

Please take measures to protect your floor, which is at greater risk than your game.

Yeah, it will be one in the garage over that already busted up concrete floor.

I value my original hardwood oak floor from 1959 way more than any of
these cheap plywood boxes full of wires.

    Quoted from Taxman:

Your games are made of real wood. Not cardboard.

    Quoted from flynnibus:

It seems most new blood has no clue what games are built to tolerate.

Well with the way some of them are built as of late with cabinets falling apart and playfields shedding paint and clear coat after a minimum amount of plays, and them spending ridiculous amounts of money on them just so they can get their dream themes....

    Damn disrespectful people!

Don't you understand, pinball is not just a game or hobby, it is a way of life, and is to be handled with kit gloves and preserved for all of eternity!
