Hi all.
Just in case anyone wishes to refer to any old repair technique details from Allen's old Treasurecove website, you can still find the old pages which are CACHED by Google and snapshotted by Wayback (www.archive.org). (This approach works for almost ANY website that has ever existed).
Here's what I did: I was in Google and looking for "shooter lane clearcoat repair" techniques, and came across Allen's tutorial with pictures, but when I clicked on it, the link was broken. No surprise, the actual site pages are long gone, BUT, Google reported the original link nonetheless since it indexed it years ago. He returned to me: "http://www.treasurecovepinball.com/shooter-lane-repair.htm"
Now using the "Wayback machine" (web.archive.org), I just typed the page that GOOGLE says had the detail, and behold.... I was able to view the page in full glory! (Takes about 20-30 seconds to load the page since it has to retrieve old pages from very slow storage)
For reference: here is the viewable Shooter-Lane Repair pages which were last seen in 2018 or so:
