Williams, 1973Ok... I labeled the two jones plugs as you did (that'll help out a bit). Then I set Match to - On and still no movement on either stepper motor. BUT... upon closer inspection of the coil on the stepper motor directly to the left of the score reels I noticed that the coil seems to have had better days. Therefore it appears that the coil is shot. See attached image. I plan to order a new one this week and we'll see what happens after that!

As far as I can see it, this is a match stepper and not for the 100k.
Simple explenation: there is no reset coil, only the coil for stepping up.
So your game would not be able to start at "0".

Agreed. Another hybrid TT/ST!
Ok, strange thing happened. First of all I replaced the "schmoked" coil with a new one. I turned the game on and tried starting a new game but the score reels didn't reset etc. so I just played without it being reset. When points were scored the stepper didn't advance.
Then something weird happened. I turned the game off to "restart" it but BOOM... no power, no lights, no nothing (actually a whole lot of nothing!) Looked at the fuses and they didn't look blown but I am going to use my multi-meter on them to double check.
Have a GREAT Labor Day weekend and I'll let you know what went on!?!

Ugh, hopefully you'll get it sorted out -- I'd hate for you to have problems with your machine just to help with this wild goose chase. Good luck!
