1- Yes. A telescoping magnet is handy for helping with this. Harbor freight has them for a few bucks.

2- It folds down. Take a blanket or cardboard to place between the head and the rails to protect the machine when folded.

3- There SHOULD be bolts securing the head in place but many times they are not installed. Open the backbox, remove the glass, and look at where it connects to the cabinet. Could be four bolts, could be two, could be missing.

4- No nuts. Use either a 9/16” or 5/8” socket and a cordless drill to make your life easier.
