he has them, just talked to them and he said was going to create a link. call and ask.
'some' ramps are here and available ... sorry for the delay but we were hoping to have the full lot here - we have the rest ordered which hopefully are a couple of weeks, but everyone will get one.

Thank You!!!!!!! I ordered just one for now didn't want to get in anyone else's way really needs it .... I will pick up another one when the second run comes in
Quoted from Methos:Just ordered one and will pick up another one with a later batch so others can get one earlier.
Me too.
enjoy! its a 5-10 minute install to bring life back into your game. we will be making a few translucent yellow and translucent red ramps too.

Ahh, might have to get a colored one too. I'm so used to seeing a yellowed ramp, the clear looks a little strange to me when I see it in pictures. I think red might look cool, especially with matching Freeplay40 red ramps.
$150! I was expecting more ! Great, make that outstanding job!!!! What you did is *not* easy and that price is clearly a favor to fans of the game!!!! Again, thank you!

Sssssh!
We had an initial batch of them in clear, and waiting for the full batch. We also decided to make some in transparent red and transparent yellow, very limited as not sure that many would be interested. They are being produced now, and hopefully within 30 days they will all be here, and we can move on from this long episode on this particular part.

I don't see the red or yellow selling. The bridge ramp blocks the view of the playfield. I know the yellow one I have is just an eyesore and it obscures your view of the ball, plus there's a shit ton of red already on the PF and translite. It would have to be crystal clear but even then I would have a hard time pulling the trigger on one.
Clear is where it's at. I hope you have some left. Putting my order in tomorrow PPS
F*ck! Out of stock!
I'm pretty ashamed of myself: the creator of the Transporter appreciation thread couldn't get their hands on one of the initial offerings...
At least we know there is more on the way and it won't be too long of a wait. (a month give or take)

Well, I started the ramp thread and found pin-pimp a machine, you'd think I'd get a free one.

Just glad these got made, much thanks to all involved.

Double fuck. PPS please let us know when a fresh batch arrives. I missed out on the initial shipment.
Cool! I picked out the colors for the red and yellow Ramps today. Red is same as the
Red translucent Taxi ramps. The yellow is a real nice looking translucent yellow, not like the old yellowed clear ramps that look like tabaco stains. Will be about mid November for the next run. There will be plenty this time. I will post pics of the red and yellow in the machine when I get them.

Are you doing clear ones for November too?
yes a lot of clear. the fist run of 18 was just to sample the mold and make sure we didnt have any issues. material dye ordered so we can run the clear and colors at the same time. have to do this with low volume runs to make it cost effective.
Just received my ramp! I had serious doubts this would ever happen. Thanks PPS and Pin Pimp.
I am leaning to picking up a red and yellow one for back ups.
Noticed that there is a Transporter currently for sale in the market place , perhaps the value of this title will rise with the ramps now being made available again & the possibility of plastics set etc.... on the horizon ?

I think based on that price... it has already risen!
Quoted from Whysnow:based on that price
well yes ...... but from what I can tell in those pics that one appears to be in pretty nice condition cabinet has very little or almost no fade , lots of red still there , mylar looks down tight & that crossover ramp looks really good for an original Transporter is a really cool looking & unusual system 11 how much does a nice EATPM or & Earth Shaker go for these days ?
Quoted from MadMaxDad:Is somebody making decals for the ramp?
Do you mostly mean the 1 million decal on the bowl cover MadMaxDad ? I haven't heard of anything being available or worked on yet. I imagine in the future when the bowl cover and other ramps get made that there will be a good demand for some decals.
Quoted from spiroagnew:Back in stock at PPS at about 8am this morning and I was able to place an order. I just checked again now and PPS is showing that it is out of stock again.
You're f#cking kidding me... I added myself to notification.
there is more on the way, by mid nov there will more than enough to cover everyones needs, plus the colored ramps will be available
Quoted from Fifty:You're f#cking kidding me... I added myself to notification.
I don't think that notification button works
For those that didn't get a chance to order one of the new ramps yet - hey at least you don't have my luck. I ordered one of the first batch of new ramps and FedEx has lost my package. It made it to their shipping center in Buffalo and *poof* - it vanished. With what they have been able to tell me so far, it could very well have been transported to the Orion. Sigh.

Bummer! Hopefully they'll find it for you.
Hey guys, I was playing Transporter tonight and I noticed this upper section of lights stays lit in-between ball drains. The entire PF goes dark after you drain a ball, but this area remained on. That seemed odd to me, but I honestly don't remember if this is the way it's always been.
Could someone confirm that this section remains lit when it seems it shouldn't be? Before I start troubleshooting I want to make sure it's actually not supposed to do this. Thanks!
Quoted from PinsOnly:Always stay's on, on mine too.
Phew! Thanks PinsOnly I thought I was losing my mind.
we just completed the production run, parts will ship to PPS today or tomorrow, in stock shortly after that.
Transporter Crossover Ramps are in stock - WITH CLEAR, LIGHT RED, and YELLOW - colors are a bit cheaper as not sure of the interest $119 vs $149 for the clears. They are all now on the PPS store and ready to ship!
The colors were selected by Kevin who had done the mold work and has a Transporter.
VERY limited quantity of the Red and the Yellow and I highly doubt I would ever run the custom colors again ...

Quoted from Fifty:Huh. Wadda ya know. The red I don't mind as much as I thought I would. Kinda pinkish but I like it.
Got my order in for 1 red/pink ramp.
After re-reading about the complexity of the whole tooling process that it took to even get this ramp made... I had to have another one.
Not sure which one I'll end up liking, but now I have a backup and a color choice to boot. (clear, red and original yellow)
Just ordered the clear. The order process wasn't overly-complicated but it wasn't exactly simple either.
What are the screws/nut combos everyone is using to attach their new ramp to the mini-playfield? The one I have is missing the hardware (ramp was caulked in place).

new ramp has the bolt bosses intact so you have to thread the screws into the new ramp no more need for nuts and bolts when installing these new ones

Anyone know the proper size/length/head for the two screws?
Quoted from Fifty:Anyone know the proper size/length/head for the two screws?
That's a really good question.
I won't be installing mine for a while, but choosing a random size screw and hoping it works seems like a split piece of plastic waiting to happen

My transporter probably hasn't seen the original screw set in over 2 decades. I would really like to get the proper hardware to ensure nothing is cross-threaded or misaligned. Getting the proper size would be great. I'm guessing it's just a regular pan head screw but does anyone know for sure?
