    Quoted from beatmaster:

good, can you make one so that we can pass the wires inside, not sure if you did something like that?

But you have to be able to feed the wires in from the side and not just another gap. What I am thinking is a second gap but with a slit along it to feed the 18 (16?) gauge wire into so it will hide it, but you can still get the wire out without cutting the wires or unsoldering. This is necessary as many of these wires go to spotlights.

    Quoted from beatmaster:

a gap a the top and bottom would be enough.

What about where you put the screw in? The gap would need to extend down enough for the wires to come out and the screw to go in.

Don't get me wrong, I am going to get some of these for my X-Men once this design is figured out.

    Quoted from MIL:

Tim would it be possible to make these with rings / hooks on the side to run the wires down the side ? That way we could do away with the ugly cable ties that Stern use from the factory . Would need a small gap in them just big enough to get the wires in so no cutting / de-soldering required .
Thinking that putting slots in the ends to run the wires through the middle may weaken them too much .

This is what I was trying to say earlier.
