I'm working on a Stern Meteor - it has a Rottendog Driver board. As soon as I turn it on the knocker energizes. I believe the Q3 transistor is bad. The schematic for the Rottendog board shows transistor 20N10L. I searched GPE and it shows IRL540 as a replacement:

I worked on Stern and Bally driver boards and it shows SE9302 - GPE replacement TIP102:

I have several TIP102's in my stash but no IRL540's.

Will the TIP102 work or do I need to order IRL540?

Thanks

Thanks guys. I didn't think they'd be interchangeable. I just didn't want to place such a small order - guess I'll just have to order a few extra items.

Thanks

Bob
