Quoted from vid1900:But if you did not look closely (as none of my clients did), you might not notice that the CPR playfields were routed only to accept Gottlieb hardware, not Bally.
Why did they do this?

Quoted from vid1900:The 1979 Sexy Girl was a drop in kit.
It came with a populated playfield and a backglass, you dropped it into a Playboy cab (remember they made 19,000 Playboys) and you were good to go.
Those populated playfields were populated with Gottlieb mechs.
So in 2013, people who where swapping an existing, 1979 Sexy Girl playfield for the CPR, were very happy.
People who where freshly converting a Playboy, were in for a big surprise.
Because the CPR website and brochure only mentioned converting a Playboy, and never anything about needing a Gottlieb machine, I got lot's of angry phone calls.

A possible solution would have been to have asked pre-ordering customers if they were converting a Bally Playboy - then CPR could have simply routed the standard Bally holes for the majority(?) of the run.
I see so I guess it was correct in a way...
