actually, I like it a lot. Kinda fits the whole autobots vs Decepticons theme too with OP overlooking the DE machine. Here's a link I posted on pinside with a pic of it on my DE model.

Not too bad. I'm just above novice level when it comes to this kind of stuff. Run one wire to the power supply, plug in. Run the other to the pop bumpers lamp socket; either solder or crimp. I chose to solder and I suck at soldering, so this part took a little cautious creativity.

Saw this post where I ordered his topper. Cant believe I kept it in the box all this time, just put it on a new in box TF:LE Dec about three weeks ago and next week its goes to its new owner. Still a way better deal than this topper auction below
Some dude here just offered $300 bucks for one, and another dude did the same. Be a cold day in Pin-hell when I pay that price for a topper, unless it's interactive or special in some way.
LOVE Matt Mckee's stuff. Am also looking for a TF topper, so in full disclosure, that is where I stand. If I find one, great. If not, ok, as this is on the bottom of my priority list along with running in traffic and kissing a female lion.
All kidding aside, I wonder if Matt will ever re-release these?

+1. I was just talking to Matt about buying his POTC and I brought up getting a TF topper from him. He told me that he is sold out and does not plan on making anymore. I'm still going to bug him about it from time to time.
It probably will not happen, Matt would have to have more blanks laser cut, and for that to be cost effective he would have to do a quantity. That and Matt prefers to create new, more so than circle back, at least that is the way it seems when I speak with him.

Crank can be very effective in his pestering. Heck, Matt will probably end up making a whole new batch just to get him off his back.
