The game gets hate because the code / rule set just is IMPOSSIBLE unless you are an expert. There is nothing interesting or compelling about the rules. I desperately wanted to love it but I just couldn't. I have had it in and out 4 times and was considering it for a 5th. It is a pretty game and shoots really well. The rules just don't grab you.
