I've played this game on location both with and without the color DMD. Color made a huge difference. Way easier to tell what the graphics were vs on the original orange display, sometimes I had a hard time identifying the movie clip. I'm not an owner of one so they can definitely tell you more as they'll have more time with it, but I loved it.

Hi all, hoping someone can help me out. I know nothing about pinball maintenance, but went and bought myself a LE combo anyways. Love the game, kids love it. I think we've put on 300 games in the last 4 months. BUT. Recently I started having issues where when the ball goes into the pops it is triggering Starscream hurry up. I am guessing the vibration from the pops is making something go off. Any ideas what I should look at/tighten/clean? And if I should be cleaning something, please give me a bit more direction (i.e. is it a lens so I use lens cleaning material or something else). As I said, I don't know beans about maintenance but should be able to figure it out with a bit of help. Thx in advance.

BTW - Do you other owners / players find one side much easier to score on that the other? For whatever reason I've put up decent scores on Autobots (134 M being my highest) but nothing even close on Decepticons (I don't think I've cracked 45M).

In my house Starscream is referred to as Richard, because he can be such a Dick on the LE diverting the shots off the ramp.

Yeah, I had a piece of door weatherstripping to do the same thing as I often have them get stuck in the corner when they fall off Starscream. Unfortunately lost the damn piece of rubber before I installed so have to get another one.. I don't mind the ball going off there, it is intentional, just pisses me off when it sticks in the corner and I lose a ball getting it out. I even got super long foreceps to install the rubber easier, just my kids did something with the rubber before I got there.

As for Ironhide, I've only had the ball get stuck up on him once ever in the year I've had the game. So not much of a problem for me. I've had the ball get stuck on Megatron exactly once as well but no idea how it did that one.

Nice.. they look good.. I have illuminated buttons on my LE combo to but I think mine are both red.. yours are a better match!

Pretty sure the loose ball and the captive ball is correct, mine has both as well. If the picture above isn't enough, let me know and I'll try take a pic of the area on mine.

I have searched stores for a replacement but no luck.. I'm sure there are some out there.

Your last pics gave me a good idea of what you are looking at. Unfortunately mine is an LE and the ramp sits a bit different. The ramp isn't connected to the guides, but mine doesn't have holes for the posts you put in. The guides look the same as yours further up, just the front piece looks different. Sorry, this probably doesn't help much but hopefully a bit. I have more pics of the area if needed, but not sure they'll help.
