I’m working on the bottom board and would like to replace the label on the transformer. I’m replacing all of the other labels and would like to do the transformer to. Is there any concern if I make a new label from shipping label material and stick it on? Should I be concerned for heat buildup or anything else?

I would stay with the one you have.

I clean and polish the brackets and replace the hardware or polish it up. I also clean the transformer frame up and paint it black with metal paint. But yeah I wouldn't touch the label. I'd worry that the wax would just discolour it.
