    Hi all is there a reason why my Bally transformer is getting warm ,this machine was a reimport any ideas what I can check

    Yes, there is a reason the transformer is getting warm. The reason is you have your game turned on. Warm is normal.

    I thought so but my other games I have don't get warm at all whys that then ?

    Heat depends upon how much work the transformer is doing. If it's oversized (power rating) for the amount of "transforming" it is doing, then it will run cooler. If it's undersized, then it will run warmer. Undersize too much and it will of course fail from overheating. Sounds like your other games have conservatively sized transformers. Transformers are sized in pinball machines to almost never fail from normal use. I wouldn't worry about a warm transformer. Just make sure it is protected with the correct size fuses.
