    On a Gottlieb Rottendog GDB003, can I exchange a FQP13N10L trans. with a F1210L?

I'm no expert on the Rottendog, I assume the part is a TO-220-3 package. Why not just replace the FQP13N10L with the same? There are thousands in stock at Digikey.

(I only see the F1210 as a AA package device?)

    Or here:

If it's an F12N10L - then, yes you can use it. The 12N10L has been obsolete for a few years and has a bit lower current rating than the 13N10L.
12 Amps versus 13 Amps... well, actually 12 Amps versus 12.8 Amps.
