Condition: Fully restored (full original status)

Price

$ 9,999

A beautiful Funhouse for trade or sale. Looking to trade for a Medieval Madness original or special edition remake in Indiana and surrounding area.

Pluses: Cabinet and backbox have mirror radcals cabinet art - the colors really pop. New Diamond Plate playfield - the best there is. All new Titan rubbers, Comet LEDs and OCD board, all new mechs for Rudy and rebuilt flippers - very snappy flippers. EVO pop cap LEDs on pop bumpers. Pin-Tek CPU with NVRAM. New Rottendog driver board. Pinball Pro front panel speakers and cabinet bass. Crisp new Xpin LED display. New ramp from Starship-Fantasy.

Minus: blemish on inside left of backbox where the translite trim plastic nicked the paint (pics 10 and 11).

NOS playfield? With the hologram on the bottom isn’t that a repro? Why did someone use pop rivets for the plastics? It’s not what to use unless it’s a 69 Chevelle and you need a to put a floor in to pass inspection.

Buyer be aware!

NEW Diamond Plate playfield. And yes, buyer always be aware - head over and see, touch, and play this pin!

So in other words, a Micro? Or is it NOS original sun process?

No Mirco stamp or logo. Just the SP part number "31-1002-50003-SP" under the apron.

Look at the front side of the playfield on the very thin edge between the top and the bottom. There should at least be a date stamped on it. I would bet this is a CPR if there is no micro lettering under the apron. That being said, it does look very nice. We aren’t hounding you because of that, we just want to make sure you and the buyer know exactly what they are dealing with before making a decision.

Yeah, lots of mistakes on this resto. Although it looks nice and shiny.

It looks like a "quick and dirty" type of resto. Im not a huge fan of rad-cals on this game.

Definitely a Mirco or CPR playfield, but Mirco ones are pretty nice!

Pop-rivets???? These will fall apart comparatively fast...

Painted lock down bar receiver???? ( just replace these please...)

Wrong clear lane plastic above the trap door??? Should be the machined one to fill the gap behind the door.

Trap door stop is missing (you can see the dimple for it) ?????

Trap door is installed a little crooked and looks like it needs a new hinge???? Without the door stop the hinge will break soon enough. So that may take care of itself...

Inside the backbox paint wasnt completely finished or sanded out and filled????

It isnt shown in the pics, but I imagine a big blue sticker for the warning on the backbox instead of screened text.

Im not a fan of the EVO pop bumper caps. I like the 7 LED ones better.

Too bad about the Rottendog driver board and the Pin-tek CPU (although the Pin-Tek is VERY good...).

Bullet-proofed originals are more desirable (if you can get them...).

I like the Pinscore displays better than the X-pin ones, but thats a just a matter of taste.

Nice speakers but no Pinsound to go with them?????

Old faded translite??? A new CPR mirrored backglass would look really nice on this.

No mention of OCDLED to correct the rapid-fire eye-burning LED action, or GIOCD. I imaging all of the special dimming effects are turned off to eliminate the horrible flickering in the backbox LED's.

This is too bad as Funhouse does use the dimming

Its nothing that can be corrected, just a lot of work to do it right.

I think the price is HIGH for this type of resto.

I think it should go for $7500 to $8500 in this condition.

With the above corrected it could go for 10K or more!

Its a nice game though and a lot of work went into it, it just needs some TLC or a more experienced restorer.

This is all just my opinion, so take it for what its worth....

No date stamp on the front edge or back edge. If there is a date stamp on either side, it's not visible with the playfield in the cabinet. It is a beautiful machine and plays super nice. Pics only go so far, need to come over see it, examine it, touch it (not creepily), play it!
