Greetings & Happy New Year! Traded my sweet BSD for a equally sweet Fish Tales! I realize not everyone would have traded even on this but i could not be more pleased!

I think that is a great trade.

Good job. Even up trade if you ask me.

Both of us are happy! I think that's pretty cool when that can happen, bro!

both lightening flipper and both hard and fast. imo I like bsd more, but if you enjoyed bsd and feel it is time to move on, then you are all good.

As long as you're both happy is what counts. I think they are both in the same ballpark for fun and value. I normally prefer horror themes and have no interest in fishing. But in this case I give the edge to Fish Tales.

Charlie did score a really nice FT, typical fish wear but a solid 9/10 cab. Would be a perfect candidate for a CPR play field.

Thanks for sharing Lake! Like you say it has a beautiful cab…but so was that BSD..(Thanks Toasterdog!) I will give you a shout when the overlay arrives from MAD, bro.

Good trade. Both BSD and FT are extremely brutal games that do nothing to compensate for failure. Just try playing the TPA version without balls going straight down the guts every minute.

Tackle box overlay, then its good to go. Use the wet method, very hard to line up perfectly.

Good advice! Thank you. Tell me did you use soap and water or Windex? I am seeing past comments about using both.

Non ammonia windex .

^^ ^^ THIS ^^ I like BSD more, but it wasn't my game. These kind of deals are great when both people think they got the better side of the deal. Congrats!

Larry,
I should have taken a few pics before I left. It got a little harry for a second, but I nailed it. I couldn't have lined it up any closer! That damn overlay was HUGE, and extremely sticky even when using the wet method. I hope you still have your FT Larry.

Solid trade. I currently have a FT and BSD is on my top 10, I would be very happy with this swap.

No, don't use anything not made for the purpose. Read about this stuff and get a small bottle on Amazon.

Good luck. Take before and after pictures.

I got the BSD and I was more than happy not only with the trade but also in meeting someone as awesome as Charlie. I do miss Fish Tales but BSD seems to be a bit more challenging; so much so that some days I have to walk away from the machine to prevent myself from driving a wooden stake through the center of the playfield!

I highly recommend dealing with Charlie if you ever get the chance, awesome collection and the most honest and open person I have met so far in this hobby. Happy New Year!

Love both of these games the same.!! You both did great..! I have owned both, and they are both great in their own way.. Ash, you did great , FL, you did great..!! A win-win here.!!
I would trade one for the other, or the other for the other.., lol...

Thank you for the kind words Steve. Trust me the pleasure was all mine. Oh and yes, that BSD is a challenge!!!

Good job Lake , yes it can be a little scary doing an overlay. I did my other TAF dry and that was a tough one ,no second chances with doing it dry! Putting a bright light under the playfield really helps getting it lined up perfect. And like to say ,Hi to Charlie.
