There is only one thing and one thing only good about FS... that bowling alley strike sound... god is that the best sample... but that is it.
One reason FS is so turdtastic is the fact that the movie, (it was based on a live action take on FS, right?),well, it went beyond the standard setting of “suck” on the old Kirby Vacuum Scale of Suck... it pushed the limits of the known physical laws of nature in its ability to remove air from an enclosed space. Rosie O'Donnell as Betty Ruble was a stretch and not just one in her wooly mamoth g string costume, but a jarring, nightmare inducing affront to my innocent adolescent addoration of Betty... let’s face it, Betty was the looker, Wilma made you think of your mother (Eww...)
RFM is a whistle stop on the road to innovation in pinball that probably could have been skipped if the conductor hadn’t looked at all the designers at B/W and said, “lets give you guys one more shot at saving pinball”, then pulled the coupler on the locamotive and left them dead on the tracks to fend for themselves. Shame it was the last Bally pinball table ever made, and a sad note to end an amazing run. That said, I have seen more RFM with a “sorry, it’s broke” sign taped to it than I have found working versions of the game on location over the years.
Keep TSPP would be my vote.
