I am considering a trade. My jy for a cftbl. My junkyard is nice but not perfect. About an 8 to 8.5 overall. The cftbl is the one on Mr Pinball classifieds yesterday. The playfield is stripped of all the ramps and plastics. The guy says the hollo was green and everything worked before he stripped the playfield. Needs new ramps and plastics and the cab has flipper button wear but does not look very faded. Any advice here? I have never put a playfield back together that I did not strip myself. Is creech hard top put back together?

I think they are all tough when you get them in boxes. But I am sure here on pinside we can all send you pics if needed.

Personally I would never do this trade.

Who knows WHY he wants to trade it mid-shop.

Plus, what if things are missing when you attempt to piece back together his mess?

No way.

Going to agree here. I'm not a fan of Junkyard, but I'd be hesitant to take on someone's project unless it was dirt cheap.

Yes don't do it. Some of those metal posts that support the ramps and whirlpool are impossible to find if they are missing. Another creech will swim by if you wait it out, no need to get burned on someone's project.
