Quoted from wisefwumyogwave:I heard lots of people are going.
Its a small show, they'll be lucky to get even 500 machine on the floor. I know Im only bring one Evel Knievel instead of 4

All the cool kids are doing it.

The coolest kids don’t stay at the Embassy Suites, but get free breakfast buffet there Saturday morning.
Quoted from undrdog:I’m in. Would love to meet Pinsiders.
Come to the tournament room. At least one of us will be there helping out.

If you are looking to meet pinball people, you could always meet up with us in the DFW Pinball League.
Our season just ended, but we'll be starting up again in the spring.

Thanks. I’ve been meaning to.
It is worth going to. I make one or two events a year, realize how bad at pinball I really am, and have a good time
I'll be there! No tourney this year, but bringing AIQ for sale/trade on the floor! Haven't been in years. Been missing it!
This will be my first time going. Was going to go last year but problems came up. This time there will be no exception. Road trip for my brother and I and can’t wait.
Quoted from OpSteel:It is worth going to. I make one or two events a year, realize how bad at pinball I really am, and have a good time
its fun for about 3-4 hrs, after that you'll be ready to go. lots to see in dallas area afterwards.
I'm not.
I will be looking forward to the posts and pictures from Pinsiders there.
Should be exciting with the new games that will be there.
LTG : )
I will be there with my dad, brother, and some great friends. We will be there all weekend long, so much to do and so many games to play. I can't imagine only being there 3-4 hours. Our first year was 2014 and we haven't missed one yet, and other than the first year we have always brought games for people to play. It's always a great time and something I look forward to all year long. Only 23 more days!
We'll be there! Been there every year since 2009 except for the COVID forced absences. Can't wait to see all my pinball buddies!!
I’m in for first time because we live in the next city over. We are new to the hobby and just got our first two pins two weeks ago and love it!

Arcade 92 in McKinney is a good place to play. They have a bunch of new Sterns, including a James Bond machine.
There is a great bunch of people here in DFW.
Check out the DFW pinball League. We'll be starting our Spring League just after TPF. There are some people in the group with some amazing collections.
My 2 recommendations for putting your TPF trip over the top:
1.
There's a fun titty restaurant right across the street called Wild Pitch. Great place to grab a burger and knock back a cold one.
2.
There's a fantastic Texas BBQ joint in Frisco called Hutchins. The best brisket I ever tasted by far and free AYCE peach cobbler. I have been craving it for 12 months.

It's a Sports bar. Order sports bar food like a burger and fries, something they do a lot of. Don't order a steak. The burgers are great.

This year I’m going with the split decision.
Hard Eight Thursday
Hutchins Friday
The winner gets a Saturday repeat!

What do you guys recommend at Hard Eight?
Quoted from NorCalRealtor:What do you guys recommend at Hard Eight?
Everything.
They don't disappoint if you are into barbecue.

Quoted from NorCalRealtor:What do you guys recommend at Hard Eight?
The free beans. Seriously if you like Hutchins, Hard Eight will probably be quite a let down.
Quoted from NorCalRealtor:What do you guys recommend at Hard Eight?
Hard Eight is walk up and choose from the cart style.
Option #1 I personally prefer brisket, jalapeño sausage, baked potatoes, and beans etc. bflagg is right about the beans, they are charro style pintos with sausage and jalapeños. Yum!
Option #2 is a Steak. Right as you hit the door, there is a steak option. Order, go through the line mentioned in #1. The steak will come to your table after you sit. It’s easy to get too much food. I recommend not going overboard to avoid the food coma after.
Check out the web site. As I often say, it’s just lunch. Both are quite good.
Send me a PM and I’ll be happy to have you join some of my friends and I for a meal.
Quoted from tilt-master:Does anyone know if Chrome Candy will have a vendor booth at TPF?
The TPF web site shows who's going to be there.

TPF Vendors link doesn’t work for me. I guess I’m looking in the wrong place

Thx, I contacted Chrome Candy, they will not be attending

A friend and I tried to go last year, but the wait was too long for outside seating, and the weather was really nice that day.
We went to The Boardwalk at Granite Park instead. Neat little walkway next to a man-made lake, and it's right on the opposite side of the highway.
Many good restaurant options. Pretty sure we went to Union Bear Brewing Co.
I'll try to check out Wild Pitch this time though!
Quoted from LTG:Everybody stopping by the jjp booth, be sure and ask them when they are getting LTG : ) back.
Everyone go by the JJP booth and chat them up about a new game. Then, as you are pulling out your wallet for the deposit casually ask when they are getting LTG back. Naturally, they'll be non-committal, and you look chagrined, put your wallet back in your pocket, and walk to another booth.

I’m in.
Was just talking about this with my co-workers tonight, it’s looking like this upcoming TPF will be the debut show for the most new games from different manufacturers ever. It is going to be pretty awesome to see all the new games!
I’ll be there along with my wife and kids. Been to every TPF show since 2013. It’s a perfect world for us as a family. I take in the show while the wife and kids shop across the street. Hotel is beautiful and enjoying to stay at for a few days and everyone can stay busy and entertained within walking distance. Highly recommend the Video Game Museum if you never been there.

And if they'll restore LTG : ) back on the credits for the game ?
On Toy Story it was gone.
