Hey all, I just booked a rental car at Dallas Love field via Thrifty's website for $65.15 for the entire weekend!

    Quoted from Concretehardt:

Wildcard they will probably rent you a Yugo

Maybe, but it can't be worse than Payless last year - In November I got a bill in the mail for tolls - that's waaaaaay post-rental! It's kinda silly to have a car since it just sits in the parking lot, but I doubt round-trip airport transit could be had for anything close to $61.

I'm packing tomorrow and I don't fly until Friday morning... Should be there by 2:00 pm. I really can't wait to get there - the break from the "real job" is always appreciated, but for this? Just WOW!

DC is closing the subway system all day tomorrow ... Hopefully they get it back online as expected after just one day. National airport with no trains running will be a nightmare.

Kahr.us and ezSBC got home safely. I was glad to be a part of the show again this year and Daniel was amazed at the whole experience. I think I was a lot happier than I look in the pic at the top of page 15 of this thread. You Texans are great hosts!

Hey Labnip - Southwest has nonstop flights from Austin to Baltimore that would be perfect for the Allentown show for $177 each way... Bit of a drive from BWI (2.5 hours) but you could pull it off!
