I suspect some will think it too soon to start this but here goes.

I see a good number of TX participants here on the EM Hangout. Just thought I'd see what EM Hangout members will be going to this year's Texas Pinball Festival.

I'll be there. In the past Bally Brian (Saunders) and Chris Hibler from Team-EM are usually there. I don't know yet if they are going this year.

Please bring Big Brave. I would like to play one.

Thats probably the one. Will be rebuilding it over the next couple weeks. If I get target alpha rebuilt in time as well I might have to decide which one I'd rather put up for sale first.

Ill be there. an SS in tow... please dont hit me at least its Joker Poker

If i can get Capt Kidd done it will come too.

I will be bringing Gottlieb Atlantis & Team One. There may be another one or two surprises, but I am definitely bringing at least these two.

I sold all my EM's to Shawn...but they might show up possibly: Top Card and Card Trix...

    #10 5 years ago

I sold both Abra Ca Dabra and Card Whiz today. Both have been finalized. I will only be bringing two machines. Slick Chick and King of Diamonds.

    Way to go Dan!

Personally I think your Abra Ca Dabra is the bomb!

Cools beans on the Card Whiz as well. So what's next?

What? You sold Card whiz? You just bought that as I recall...

    #13 5 years ago

Hope to have the Sonic Super Straight (NFS) ready in time and will for sure be bringing William's Big Chief. If I get time to work on it, B/C will be for sale on the floor. Otherwise, for sale as a project.

Yes I sold Card Whiz. As much as I thought I would love to own this it is just not holding my interest as much as Slick Chick and King of Diamonds. The 60's games are really doing it for me. My friend has 9 pins and I go straight to his Williams River Boat. My friend Ken has 20 different Gottlieb 60's and 70's EMs and I make a B line for his Central Park, Kings and Queens and Buckaroo. It took me 1500 dollars worth of mistakes to realize that I love 60's Gottliebs.

Next I will be actively searching in this order for

    Kings and Queens
    Buckaroo
    Crosstown
    North Star
    Central Park

Hey Dan. You broke 2,000,000 pinside love points. Congrats.

Great Choice! I would not mind owning that title or Sing Along so I have at least 1 Gottlieb 60's pin in my collection because I just love the way the Ball kicks out the side into the next hole on those 2 titles.

    Quoted from Rat_Tomago:

    I love 60's Gottliebs.

and I love 70's Gottliebs. A different passion for everyone.

Thank you guys for bringing so many great titles.

I look forward to meeting you and playing your games.

Your JP has chimes. It's close enough to an EM. We won't hold that against you.

    Central Park

    Great choices!

Of those titles North Star seems hardest to find at the moment so if you find one, don't let it go.

Buckaroo is insanely addictive - line up those 7 numbers - pop, pop, pop, pop!

And I have been looking for a souper douper mint Crosstown for ages and ages - plenty around but not in the condition I want.

Central Park seems easiest to pick up for some reason.

    #21 5 years ago

Central Park is a hard game and doesn't get as much play as the rest. This is why you see a ton of them and most of them have shiny playfields because of this.

    #22 5 years ago

If you get a Kings and Queens, I may have to break into your house and buy a storage unit for a while. Just saying.

Funny you should say this as seen a lot of Central Parks with real nice playfields!

LOL Josh! I would have the perfect trifecta of Slick Chick, King of Diamonds and Kings and Queens.

nope... but as much as i like pinball, i LOVE birding (it's one of the reasons why we still live in new jersey)... my weekends basically from now until the middle of june are already reserved for that...

Well Dan, I'll see you this year at your house and at the TPF next year. For TPF 2015 I will most likely bring my restored CC Top Ten to sell.

Next year I will probably bring the Top Card and Card Trix I got from Frax. Card Trix might make it this year but I am not sure yet...

As of this moment my game list looks like I will be bringing the following pins: Torpedo Alley, Star Gazer, Class of 1812, Diamond Lady, Lectronamo, Hi-Score Pool. And the following arcade games: 1967 Williams "Arctic Gun" EM rifle game, Blasteroids, Atari Video Pinball and my bartop Megatouch... If I can get the issues worked out on my Zaccaria Combat I would like to bring it as well... Still lots to get done before the show so I am sure they will be a few more changes before the TPF...

I think you should bring your classy bowler and place it in my trailer.

    Thanks!

It is a keeper... I plan on getting it restored within the next year or two. It might return to the TPF next year maybe... About to order the repro plastics for it...
