First off I want to say what a great show!

I Had a blast and met some great local Pinsiders who brought some fun EM's to play and won some awards to boot!

I did not play in the Tournaments so I cannot say how that went personally. Overall I thought it was well executed for such a large and growing event so hats off to the folks who put the time in to make this show happen!

Also I was super happy to see my buddy Dave who bought my 1971 Williams Klondike that I restored win 1st place for "Best 70's Machine". He added a new Backglass from bgresto.com since I sold it to him to replace the Translite, so that was what most likely put him over the top to win the big prize.

Here is a picture of that same machine sitting next to my 1972 CC Casino before I sold it as I do not have one of it at the TPF show.

I brought my 1973 Williams Gulfstream and a 1975 Williams Triple Strike which folks seemed to enjoy playing, but I figured I would not win anything with these machines as I did not fully restore them like I did the Klondike, however there is always next year.

So just wanted to share some insight/photos and hopefully other folks who played and brought EM's to the show will as well.

I am the one with the "Fathom Vintage Pinball" T-Shirt next to the Terminator and a picture of my friend Charlie with the Terminator as well.

The last 2 photos are of my machines I brought to TPF taken at home as I forgot to get some good shots of them at the show.

Looking forward to seeing y'all at TPF 2016!

    Ken

    Quoted from EMsInKC:

I see someone brought a Hi Score Pool. Did anyone actually play it?

    Quoted from AlexF:

I have heard it's oddly fun?

My friend Charlie and I set that one up for Shawn along with 2 others of his as it was next to our machines. Charlie played a test game after it was set up and thought it was "Different" as he never played it and actually did well on his first ball hitting all the pool balls, not so much on the rest. He played one game and was not wanting to play another which tells you something. Then he asked if I wanted to play a game and I said no thanks as I played it back in the 70's and never wanted to play it since. It is one of those games where you either really like the play or not at all IMO. Both of us did like the Artwork however if that means anything.

Just thought I would post this link here as it was lost on another thread on Pinside. It's all about the EM's at TPF 2015. Short Video:

    Quoted from Mk1Mod0:

Tried to run into you at the show but I guess I didn't get around to it. Thanks again for all your help in getting me up and running.

Wish I could have met more folks from Pinside as well, but did make some new acquaintances that weekend. Missed out on meeting Mike O which was a bummer , but most likely my fault as I was under the influence Saturday all day long.
