Recession or bad move to use TS4...Doesn't matter which one.
But the flippers may not be happy on this one.
$2500 non-refundable deposits. People were trying to flip their spots for a profit and it just didn't happen.
We saw this on another manufacturers pin and a lot of people took a haircut getting rid of their spots.
Will this happen again... it appears to be heading that way.
This might be the lesson flippers need on the CE's.
I think when they start to ship and they realize they have $2500 deposit in them will be a cluster F***.
I had one on order day one. That afternoon showed it to My 12 YO Granddaughter thinking She'd love it.
She told Me She had watched TS 1,2 and lost interest after 2. Cancelled same day.
Quoted from JohnTTwo:Opps posted in the wrong thread meant for it to be here
So starting to see CE buyers taking a loss on their deposits. How low will we go?
Have a Halloween coming so I feel the pain, but I loved that game over TS4 so I do have that going for me
At what point does panic set in when the margin call is made for payment in full?
Can people dispute a down payment on a TS game if a TS4 is what is sold? How can one get out of a deposit? I am not looking to get out of mine on my loser, just curious?
A lot of States have laws written that all deposits are refundable unless it is something specifically ordered and not easily resold.
Quoted from PtownPin:Good question although I doubt it especially if they were aware of the game details and price prior to committing ?
I think at this time the Distributors may be communicating with each other as this may be the biggest FU I have ever seen on a pin launch.
Makes POTC look not so bad.
Just saw on marketplace someone has a $3500 deposit on a CE.
When I was going to order it was $1000 deposit.
Quoted from NC_Pin:I wouldn’t say it is reasonable… but I like the theme and would definitely be tempted at 10k for nib LE or at $13k CE
You can get $13500 on marketplace now for a CE. If You want one look for someone with $3500 deposit and make offer.
