Quoted from TheLaw:

Yeah gonna need SR to dig them out if this

I kind of feel bad for Steve. I get the feeling he was told he could finally design a game with unlimited BOM, yet JJP seems to be releasing overpriced games with stripped playfields these days. Steve does do more with less, so he will make a fun game either way.

Quoted from romulusx:

JJP’s are built stronger then Stern pins are! That’s not saying they’re more fun or better it’s just stating a fact.I was a cabinet installer and woodworker for many years.

Wide bodies aside, most of the extra weight in JJP games is in the extra wiring, computer enclosure and especially the boat anchor transformer in the cabinet all associated with their antiquated hardware system. At this point the Stern cabinets are solid again compared to the really, really crappy cabinets they had a few years ago.

Quoted from snaroff:

OMG. I think most collectors would prefer a sturdy 250lb. pinball machine over 325lb.

Agreed. Tighten the leg bolts a bit extra, put the game on rubber footies and any game feels like it weighs 1000 pounds when you're playing and nudging.
