Quoted from Loganpinball:List started. Thanks for the interest. Just a heads up I do $50 an hour plus materials and I make 2 or 3 sets to get a average time to figure out final costs. And I will playtest the hell out of first (figure things out) set.
Extended the transition ramp, starting on left return.. i will update this post as the night goes.
Trying wireformed Slink.
Almost done with the head. I like it!

Very creative!
Quoted from Loganpinball:Thanks!
Need to work on legs, but I like it..[quoted image]
Are you leaving it like that or covering the body and adding eyes and stuff?
This is exactly the people companies like JJP and Stern need in their corner. People with talent and creativity. Well done!
Quoted from Loganpinball:Done for tonight. Adding eyes and a hind section. It will look alot better when I stone, sand and polish it.
The long right wireform I am going to shape it like Bo peeps sheppards cane. I think it will work visually, but I have to build it to see it..Thats one of the nicest complements I have ever got on pinside. Thank you. I had a booth rented at Pintastic, but my wife went in to the hospital and I had to be here. I was hoping to show Jack my Guns and Roses mod at the show.

Wow! That’s freaking amazing! You would fit in nicely at JJP or Stern I’m telling you!
Quoted from Loganpinball:Thanks. I am not restrained by costs (at least on my own machine) and I am not sure if this can be made by machines.. I have 4 hours on this and not done.
Thank you, I really enjoy making crazy wireforms for my machines. Some are a hit and others fall flat. I did not sell a single Gnr kit due to price, but that set takes 16 hours to make. I have found out once you breach $350 and up you loose alot of people.
I fugured out eyes thanks to my sons art class!

Eyes are great! If you can figure out a way to cover the entire head and maybe put a tongue sticking out to the side where it doesn’t affect ball trajectory, I think you would sell lots and lots of these. Your ramp looks incredible as is but covering the head and the ears would be epic!
Quoted from Loganpinball:Maybe, but this is the figure how to build it set. 4 legs and now a spring tail. Its very hard to tig weld thin plates without having very noticeable welds. I think it might hurt the visual.

Yeah it would have to be like a 3D printed snap-on thing that would allow you to clap on to the wire form. But it looks great as is too!
Quoted from Loganpinball:Adding the remaining wireform and trying to figure out a different design over another ball drop rail over another one and I think I got it!
The end of the wireform has a bend upwards and the ball goes up and drops into lower form. Very happy and I have never seen anything like this and that drives me more. Fast balls drop without issue and even if I place the ball on the wireform midway it still drops!
Once I saw that working just looking at it and I saw Forky! I will get back to it tonight, but I am very happy today! The ring will be his arms and repositioned. Then I will work out his feet.

Wow! That’s perfect! I was thinking you could powder coat/paint slinky dog and forky the same colors they had in the movies. That would give them a very nice finishing touch. I know it’s a lot more work but worth a try for your machine.

If there is a slink toy close to this size please feel free to let me know. I am up to working a toy head and tail if there is one the right size.
I have a few minor adjustments written down for the next toy story set. I am playing these everyday to test.
My schedule as of today is To make a few Star Wars pro kits, then Mandalorian, followed by Toy Story and just added a simplified xmen set. I will be making them in that order. [quoted image][quoted image]
Again, a 3D printed kit to fit each section perfectly might be the best way to go here. Then you can simply make a cast and create more replicas out of whatever material like silicone or whatnot. Add a little paint and you are done.
Quoted from Loganpinball:I am not sure if I can figure this slink toy out to use as a ball guide. I will try later on, but as a add on somewhere else I think it would look great.
[quoted image][quoted image]
That would be awesome! Hope u figure it out!
Quoted from Loganpinball:This is so happening! Very quick video of the head in action. Might change scale of slinky rings. I just dont have any other size in the shop.. but I say hell yes..I am ordering more of these slink toys. If your in for this please let me know.
That’s what I’m talking about!
Quoted from Loganpinball:I got my first 10 Slinks today which is good because I lost parts for the first already. I have a welded ring in the front and 2 in the back. I mounted the 4 legs and a half assed rear section, pun intended. I have the toys slinky installed over the guide rails and zip tied at each end. I want everything to be able to be cleaned. If the zip tie is cut you can slide the slinky to one end and clean the other. The j hook limiting guide works great. Progressing..i want to figure out a few more things such as the front body…

This should have been part of the CE package! Congratulations on a job well done. I hope you sell many sets!
If you could somehow paint or cover the white inner ear to make it look brown, it would make that area look so much better. Totally not necessary. Just an observation.
