My 7 and 10 year old boys hardly touch my games, to my disappointment. However, today I installed tournament buttons in xmen, avengers and iron man and they won't stop playing. They are actually interested in what a skill shot is to get extra points. They love putting their names on the board, which they can never do in normal mode because my scores are so high. Best $18 and 2 hrs I've spent in a long time. I haven't even told them what they'll win, they seem content playing against themselves and my wife.

For those who want to attract kids to games, highly recommend these buttons.

Others have similar experience?

How does it work? keeps track of a separate highscore? I only used the tournament button on a fish tales ball launch since it's wired for a lamp and it fits the theme.

Yes, you set the length of the tournament, days, weeks, whatever, and you try to knock each other off. It's separate from the regular high scores and you can still play outside of the tournament, so I can play when they aren't, just push the regular start button. I believe you can also set the number of places to win, first, second, third, etc.

Next time I have a party/gathering, I'm going to set up a tournament, certain to attract interest.

Of course now my 7 year old is mad my 10 year old knocked him off, can't win sometimes.

It's always more fun to compete.
