Moulin Rouge. Check out those four outlines with entrance areas the size of the grand canyon. Don't nudge too hard - it's from the tilt penalty = game over era. And then there's the two-inch flippers with kickout saucers to either side. I love it. Lighting the entire easel by hitting all of the numbered targets is really tough for me. I just restored the playfield on this one so it also plays relatively fast for a 1965 game.

Quoted from o-din:

Moulin Rouge looks tough, but check out all the exits on Trade Winds.

Egads! My thinking about layouts like these is that on the plus side they make for a tough game (which I like) but can also shift the balance between skill and luck towards luck (which I don't like). Of course I could be wrong in this assessment. Maybe my perception of needing luck is actually an indication of a growth edge for my skills. I can remember when pinball in general seemed to require more luck than it actually does. It's not until someone shows me an approach that I had not tried or thought of that a degree of luck shows itself to be surmountable with the refinement of skill.
