Yep, it's the strength of the Genie magnet...max it out!

Thanks. I'm looking at this cos sometimes the magnet grabs the ball, holds it and releases it sdtm.

Other times it does the 'throw' intermittent prob?

Mine does that as well, had to kill the tilt bob for some serious nudge saves when it does that. Now and then I get the "vanishing magnet broken" credit dot going on as well. Not sure if this is a bug or something actually wrong. Think I heard that is a common problem, but never heard of a fix.

I have the same problem even after updating Eproms and adjusting power to full. I am guessing the indentation in the center of the magnet gets worn in a little and probably needs to be replaced. If the pin is set up at a slightly steeper angle it may help a bit. The magnet should pulse and toss the ball, but that can only happen if the ball starts to move away from the center point. I may first try a drop or two of super glue in the indentation and let it dry really well first to see if it smooths out and makes a noticeable difference before trying to find a replacement magnet.

If anyone else has experience with this one......let me know!

Thanks,

The switch in your subway is flaky. Replace it and make sure the ball isn't jumping over it.
