I might have a similar issue on mine. Vanishing magnet captures the ball, ball locks, and it tells me "second ball is locked", then never gives me a new ball. It also does not pop the locked ball during ball search, so the only way to get out of this is to end the game. Then it pops (both) balls from the lock. Then it tells me that vanishing magnet is broken. During switch test, both switches register correctly, but it might be a case of "slow switches", so I guess I better replace both switches?

What makes me doubt this, is the fact that it does tell me that "second ball is locked". I would expect it only does that when it detects the ball has landed in the lock (2 switches registered).

In my case it appeared to be a problem with one of the switches "leading to" the ball lock (loose wire). I was told this to be a software error.
