Hey, hope someone can help me out with this problem. My tiger magnet is not flush with the playfield, it sits about 1/8" below the playfield. In removing the magnet and inspecting, I don't see how I can get this magnet flush with the playfield. Is there anything I'm missing here? I suppose it's possible that I have the incorrect magnet assembly in there, but it looks stock.

Any help would be appreciated! thanks,

Michael

Can you take a picture? There should be a locknut and slotted screw to adjust the height.

Best picture I could find via phone on a TZ but shows what needs to happen. Loosen the lock nut (this may be really tight!) and slotted screwdriver in or out to Adjust height. Retighten lock nut.

Is this a CPR replacement playfield?

Good point. And just to let you know my picture above was wrong. Maybe your missing the spring washer? It goes between the magnet and bracket.

Is there any reason an adjustable magnet with a bracket like this one could not be used?

It would make much more sense o-din! I'm curious to hear if anyone has done that.

Just need to find the nut. My TOM had the non adjustable variety but it sat under the playfield, not through it. Hard to believe it's not adjustable.

Hey High_End_Pins can you confirm these are the bracket and post used?

Guessing I need the nut (do you know the size or part number)? Is there anything else? This is for a TOTAN.

I'm thinking this is the nut: https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/4428-01135-00

Any spring washer before the nut?

Thanks!

Yes that is it.
A spring washer would be best.
