You are in for a real hard time. I did a restoration of one that should have been parted out (what was usable). It took a couple years to gather up parts to get it together. I guess it depends on what you are going for.
You will be better off buying a working project both price and headaches wise, believe me. TOTAN was a grail pin for me when I took on the project, by the end of it, I hated it.
Here is a link of my resto, I don’t have anything TOTAN left but at one point I had 3 project totans.
