I'll start by saying I have no idea. Maybe Stu will chime in, but his transparency and communication over the whole process leaves a bit to be desired. I gave up after waiting for the last three years and sold mine. I think you have a better chance of PPS remaking TOTAN than you do getting a playfield from CPR. There has always been some reason why this playfield hasn't been able to move into production -- incomplete art, a missing insert, change in manufacturing locations, wood issues, etc. Good luck!

I have had my playfield out for over 6 years now. Good thing I took lots of pictures. I'm not quite convinced that CPR is just waiting for the playfield wood for this title. What makes this playfield so different than any other?

Have some faith. After 4+ years that I've know Bad Cats to be on the list, it is finally moving up the list fast.
TOTAN hasn't been up no where near that long. CPR has made progress on it the past 6 months, so it will happen. All inserts available for it now where they had some trouble getting a few and it looks like the wood is the last part needed.

Oh yeah, and don't look at that request page daily either. It will make you impatient.

Want to bet? I sent in my request for 2 TOTAN playfields when I was still on my old IP address. I have been with my new IP provider for over 4 years now.

Hey Guys;

Here's the scoop.... We have a new wood supplier, we were unhappy with the old supplier and ToTAN is important enough that we wanted nothing less than the very best we could get. This stuff is expensive costing TWICE what the last custom made wood cost us.

We tested this wood on half the StarTrek run, Bad Cats and EK. We are just starting to cut EK this week and I'll either run Medusa next or ToTAN. ToTAN has the CAD done and I am ready to begin test cuts. I just don't have enough wood on hand to do the entire run of ToTAN so rather than do a split run I might sneak Medusa in right away. The new mill is hitting about 4 weeks to deliver wood and its has been very consistent.

ToTAN will be cutting though in about 6 weeks and if for some reason Medusa gets delayed it'll be cutting in 3 weeks. Artwork is done, CAD testing can be done anytime now.

Have a little patience, we expect ToTAN to be in production very soon. I am also planning to make 20% more than what you guys signed up for so there should be some extras even if EVERYONE that signed up takes their PFs, which by the way, has never happened.

Woo hoo. That is great news. Has been a very long wait.

I'm glad it got extended, I didn't pay too much attention to this and it finally re-opened so I was able to get my request in.

just happened to go to the CPR site and there is a new policy on playfield requests/orders as of the begining of november. i had placed my email when they reopened the list. hoping im not too late now. did anyone recieve a email from CPR stating this policy change ? thinking they should have told the people who were first on this list. from reading some of these posts..this goes years back.
