I was playing TOTAN last night and shot left ramp twice in a row & when the fireball magnet started to grab the ball the game reset & then displayed the message "Opto trough bad" (as seen in the picture below) I shut machine off then reseated the cables on the ball trough opto's & restarted machine & I now get this new message (as seen in the second picture below) about checking two individual fuses as well as J127 I have checked both of those fuses & they are Ok & I have reseated J127 ,which also looks fine as well as reseating the opto cables but I still get the second message upon start up anyone else ever seen this before ? any advice on where to look next ?

Did you check fuses 101 and 109 with a meter? I had that message. Fuse 109 looked good, but it tested bad. I replaced that fuse and the game now works fine.

Ok so it turns out game had a Khars daughter board installed on the power connector to the MPU board I had put it there a year or so ago only because I had purchased it at a show & believed it couldn't hurt to put it in even though I wasn't having any issues ..... apparently something went awry with it anyhow I removed it & game is back in business
