As a TOTAN owner who is very excited about the idea of more complete code, I have a very hard time investing money into a product that you will be forced to go to the manufacturer - Mirco - for any support. I had a Mirco playfield issue in the past and it was not a pleasant experience by any means. I think there have been numerous opportunities for Mirco to start prioritizing customer care, but it seems is not a priority.
One of the reasons distributors exists is they are an ally for the customer, and can help when issues arise, amongst other benefits. Makes me wonder what the decision to not use a distributor… most likely money.
