Looking good!
Quoted from yellowghost:Thanks, also do you have any advice on dealing with the jetbumper screws? My last coats, I hammered them back in almost fully seated and hammered them back out when I was finished spraying, but I dont think I want to do that again. I got a few more coats to apply. Maybe cut little circles from masking tape ?
Yes, mask them off, they sit beneath the surface right? No need to remove them unless you’re replacing them... also, always hand bolt them when reinstalling the pop brackets, I used a drill once and snapped off the bolt from the head
On the pop bumper nail heads...
If you mask them off, clear over them, then cut around the nail head, then cut away the masking, then you don’t have to remove the screw
Just my experience... and vid1900 posted on this I believe
Quoted from trilogybeer:Removing the screws is so easy I don’t know why anyone would go through that whole process to avoid removing them. You’d also have a weak spot in the clear because the area around the heads would be tough to prep properly with them in. To me leaving them in is more work for a worse end result. I also like to either tumble or replace all my hardware so they have to come out anyways. Just the way I personally do things, others may do it different.
Good point!
I guess I don’t like removing them, hehe
Quoted from yellowghost:I take it you are not buying a reproduction if they become available.
The repro won’t hold a candle
The traditional legs are gray right?
The chrome looks great
Great work on these machines, I am highly considering a Tumbler now. What media do you use in yours?
Quoted from trilogybeer:I figured someone had previously worked on this game and put it back together incorrectly. But I examined the other Playfield that is still assembled on the bottom side and sure enough the other game was the exact same way. This seems to be an error from the factory. I will correct this.

Thanks for the walnut and Fritz info!
Oh weird! I’ll be checking my game soon too.
Please post your fix
Quoted from iluvak9:I was looking into decals because I was anticipating needing them for a Radical I was going to look at today to potentially purchase (yes, I did!). Was told cabinet was “about a 7”, so thought I might need them. Turns out cabinet was nice enough not to need new decals (yippee). Thanks, anyway for your help.
The original art on the cab is fluorescent reactive, the current reproduction decals are not, just fyi, plus the colors are just a little off from the original, but when the cab is shot, it’s better to have something close
Totally Rad
...
Bummer!
My radical has been down for some time, I did the conversion to install the rear left proto vertical kicker,
The game is awesome with it, but I can’t seem to find a good solution to keeping it working consistently with the updated roms (I don’t want to use prototype roms).
I recently found a relay that may work... just need to make time to work on it again
Quoted from trilogybeer:Jerry in not going to be happy but I was able to remove his name from the side of the cabinet.

Can you clean this with melamine to remove the dirty look? Or is it baked in?
