Well, I kicked this around for a while too, and came to the conclusion that I may be dead next year and Kim Jong Dung might nuke the world, so f@#k it. I put my deposit down yesterday.

Seriously, at $6,000 it is the least expensive option out there unless you get a NIB Stern Pro model. I would rather support a smaller company that has a better build quality and unique idea for a change. Not happy with Stern Spike system so far and I know my wife and I are going to really enjoy the lock stealing feature in multiplayer. Also, I think this pin will be simpler to service and maintain as well. Love the music and sounds and proper use of LED lighting and neon color scheme too. Also, just look at all the pinheads signing on for one. You’re in good company!
Quoted from DaveH:At some point I'll find one around me to play. The problem is that may take so long that any excitement may have dissipated.
That's the problem with all games now. Since losing our two major locations here, it's a pinball desert as far as location play. I never realized how spoiled I was by Lanes & Games. We always got to play the latest Stern game right away.
Welcome to my world!
I never had much in the way of pinball anywhere near me in my lifetime. This is why I just gave up and bought NIB this time. Tired of trying to find any good deals on used pins within a reasonable distance from me. If I lose money on a resale down the road, so be it. No such thing as a cheap hobby. My crazy ass neighbor spent $50,000 on a race car that got totaled.
Cheers!
