Worth it? Totally.
I've been on the bandwagon since playing the whitewood at TPF in 2017, and as soon as they announced it would be a full production game, I knew I wanted one. I got my machine a couple of weeks ago, and it's been played a lot. Actually, now that I think about it, it's the ONLY pinball machine I've played at home aside from a single game on Swords of Fury to test something out. The game is just totally owning my pinball playing time right now.
I took it to the Salt Lake Gaming Con over the weekend. We also had a JJP Pirates, three Iron Maidens (one premium), GOTG, GB, KISS, MET, AC/DC, Houdini, and another 50 games set up, and TNA was easily the biggest hit. The game is an outright winner, either when compared to its contemporaries or in a vacuum.
It looks simple, but putting up big scores is an actual challenge. You can focus on reactors, you can focus on score, you can focus on speed, or you can dig into some competitive play. There are lots of different ways to play the game. Right now I'm big on score, but early on reactors were my top priority.
Also, the game is built like a tank. Handling the game for setup and moving it around, it's easy to see that it's just made of better materials and a finer attention to detail. The craftsmanship is stunning. Better decals, better cabinet, better playfield, and better fit and finish really go a long way towards making it feel like a premium product.
