Quoted from Rascal_H:Closely inspect the playfield around all star posts... especially the ones that take the hard shots in the center.
Looks like it has some of the star post damage. Is this pretty common with a lot of them? Don't want to freak out if most of them are having this issue.
Quoted from Eagle14:They do still make them, I got one a few months back, might just take a while.
Good news!!! I will wait to hear back from them.
Anyone have a spare scoop cliffy they could sell me? Cliff only sells the kit and hasn't gotten back to me on just ordering the scoop protector.
Quoted from MasterBlaster:Bought a Fang Club membership a couple weeks ago after seeing the activity in this thread, in hopes that I can snag one of the re-runs when the order bank opens. I fully expect a price increase, but at anything over 7K-7.5K it’s going to be tough to justify the purchase price. A game made with off-the-shelf parts, no toys or ramps should not be in the same price range as a premium game. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a modern classic for sure, and it most definitely deserves every accolade. I just don’t see how a game with a (presumably) low bill of materials could be priced around the same amount as a premium model game such as Godzilla or Rush.
I think people will accept it being in the 8-8.5k range. Doubt they made a bunch of parts on original run and just shelved them like your insinuating, costs of materials have gone way up since then. With JJP trying to pan off "fun" at 12k, this is a bargain compared to TS4 with a more challenging game, better lightshow and the best soundtrack in pinball.
Quoted from beltking:Received the fang club cup today. Nice not sure what I’m going to do with it thought.

Supposed to drink the tears of all the flippers that lost money on HW/UM
Quoted from Bigdaddyrockstar:Does anyone know if the new TNA CE is coming with an upgraded LCD over the ones Spooky has used in past runs that some have felt needed upgrading?
Doubt it but you can drastically improve the look of it with settings on back. TNA visuals are supposed to look like VHS quality anyway.
Quoted from PocketHoleshot:My buddy has a TNA 2.0 CE and just texted me that the upper flipper died. I'm going to go over this evening and try and help him out.
Any ideas where to start? I've never worked on a TNA before, but have experience with spike 2 sterns. Thanks!
Probably a solder connection on the coil, have had it happen on my original run TNA a few times.
Quoted from tectonyc:Spooky: "We don't really do returns."
Wonderful.
That's surprising since they let someone return their Alice Cooper for a missing coin door latch arm. You have been through enough major issues this should be a no brainer for them to accept a return. How did you pay for it? You may be able to seek getting your money back through filling a dispute through CC or Paypal if it was through those means.
