Quoted from Fytr:

Folks with games in hand - does the PF have Scott's signature on it somewhere under the clear?
I had requested this multiple times and the recent interview with Scott on the Head 2 Head Pinball Podcast kind of made it sound like it might be there, but wasn't conclusive.

Send him a sac rack with a postage paid return envelope and he'll put some dna on it.

I've played around 10 games on TNA. Thinking about sending in a deposit. I know the wait will kill me. I'm guessing late summer if I ordered now?

#1726 1 year ago

Just sent deposit. Looks like I'm #337. Unless someone in the low 100's wants to switch with me.

Are they up to the 300's yet?

#1761 1 year ago
Quoted from Pmaino:

I heard it’s near 350 now....500 here we go!

HAHA. I meant out the door. I'm 337.

Quoted from Pmaino:

#81 has landed on Long Island!

On my way.

Could you add some pop up gopher mechs?

#2058 1 year ago

Don't drop your laptop in the hot tub.

#2116 1 year ago

Feels like it's been at 110 for a month now.

Maybe the next 227 people will drop out and I'll be next in line.

Are we up into the 300's yet?????

1 week later
#3129 1 year ago
Quoted from Whysnow:

anyone else notice that the pace seems to have picked up as of lately?

NO! I'm sitting at 320 and we're still in the 100's.

Quoted from rai:

I purchased DI LE and AFM LE to hold me over. AFM LE is nearly sold out or hard to find nib anymore. I know a thousand will be made, so it's not scarce. But I decided to grab two great pins while I wait.

Same here. I ordered TNA, and to fill the craving for something new while I wait, I picked up DI, IMDN, a MAME, and now looking at a Super Chexx. TNA is costing me mucho dinero. lol.

#3228 1 year ago
Quoted from pickleric:

gliebig which are you having more fun with, DI or IMDN?

It was IMDN for a few weeks, now it's DI for a few. IMDN is fast/fun/"easy". DI kicks my ass 9/10 times, but that 10th time, when everything clicks, is great.

#3260 12 months ago

#337 patiently waiting.

I just play by instinct. If I think too much about goals it gets distracting and leads to failure.

Mine did the same. I peeled them off thinking it was some leftover crap from assembly or something.

Got the lighted siderails. Is the installation pretty easy/straightforward?

2 weeks later
#3835 8 months ago
Quoted from NeilMcRae:

Take the screws out the side rails just come off. Align the roll so that it sits nicely and fills the letters. Replace the side rails. Feed the cable in at the back near the backbox. Stick the power adaptor inside the cabinet away from the amplifier and other cables. Boom. job done.
Cheers,
Neil.

Do the flipper buttons need to come off?

#3840 8 months ago
Quoted from bsobie:

Watch pulling the playfield out too far... it could potentially come off the rails and fall into the cabinet and damage something.

I did that with my first Stern. Nearly shat my pants.

#3842 8 months ago

I just installed the lighted side rails but they aren't turning on. Have the power plugged into the correct spot.
What is this little button for?

#3844 8 months ago

Anyone add lighted flipper buttons? Could you let me know which ones and where you got them?

#3847 8 months ago
Quoted from HOOKED:

That is a mode button so that you can strobe the rails fast or slow. Not tied to game at all.
Most people just leave the EL panel on constantly.

Turned out that I have a bad inverter.

#3856 8 months ago
Quoted from EStroh:

Yes but which ones? Spooky is not listed as a manufacturer and I'm not familiar with which one would have a similar connection.

I emailed PBlife. They told me to get the Stern White Star & SAM System ones. Plus....a $50 an Accessory Power Supply board

#3860 8 months ago

For those of you who did the lighted side rail mod, ehat did you do with the top screws on the rails? Will it damage the light to screw through it?

#3941 7 months ago
Quoted from FatPanda:

I believe there is a set time, where if you don't get the target, it'll move it for you. Very thoughtful by Scott!
BTW, the "D" target is a "D" target for sure!

The worst is planning perfectly, getting that multi ball going so you have a better chance of hitting that target, then watching your balls drain back down to one.

#3969 7 months ago

love the team mode.

#4019 7 months ago

Maybe some thicker mylar or I was thinking about cutting circular felt pieces to go under the posts?

#4146 7 months ago
Quoted from Pinballocd:

452 Set up and Dialed In!
Mods done... Upgraded monitor, TNA and Ghost LED backlighting, ceramic ball, sticker kit, purple led on start button, led upgrade to beacon, LED OCD speaker rings.
This is what happens when you have to wait 6 months and read this post every day. I wonder if I will stop looking every day now, doubt it. .......
Had Spooky add shaker, side mirrors, knocker and coin box.
Also waxed playfield, had to turn on amp, turn up gain on sub, adjust lock bar. Love the sticker on the back box idea, had to do it!
Loving Life!! Thanks Spooky!!!!!

Just need lighted flipper buttons.

#4151 7 months ago
Quoted from Pinballocd:

Which ones do you recommend?

Got mine from pinball life

#4153 7 months ago
Quoted from Pinballocd:

Dumb question which ones will work on TNA?

I forget. If you email them, they will let you know. Also needed an extra board. Turns out to be kinda pricey(~$70) , but they look awesome.

#4164 7 months ago

Fancy flippers buttons are shweet.

#4167 7 months ago
Quoted from Damonator:

I didn’t find these when I searched PBL.

Pink or purple? Where did you buy them from?
Did anyone splurge for the rather expensive power accessory board from PBL or is everyone just using lots of splitters?

They are pinkish/purple. Match great. And yes, I also got the board from PBL. Didn't know if it was necessary or not.

Can a headphone jack be fitted on this game?

#4290 7 months ago

Zero problems with my tilt bob, as it is still stapled to the cab.

Some questions...anyone add lighted flipper buttons? Is it possible?
I bought the lighted rail sides...any pics on where and what board everything plugs into. Thanks everyone. Love the game. Just set it up last week.

I put pink ones on mine. Looks awesome.

Quoted from WannabeWizard:

Sweet. Looks great! Which ones did you get? Plug and play?

No. I had to get an additional power box to plug them into.

#4966 4 months ago
Quoted from gliebig:

Email pinball life. They will tell you exactly what you need for the lighted buttons.

I’ve had this too, but I think it is actually the plumb bob swinging. It is super sensitive.

I solved this by never installing my plumb bob.

Haha. How do you think I was able to shake all my beer out of the glass in the pingulp while playing POTC? Good thing I have a dog for cleanup.

worth the quote

Yes. More details needed.

#5185 3 months ago

I got the black ones from Home Depot. No issues. Don't even notice them when looking at the game.
